This channel focuses on the golf swing and discussing in detail about the areas of the golf swing that most amateurs get wrong. Each how to video explains everything a golfer needs to know so they can improve their golf game and start lowering their scores, so whether your trying to break 100, break 90, break 80 or break 70 then this channel will help you achieve everything you want.

New videos out every:

Monday – How to change your swing
Wednesday – Secrets of a professional swing
Friday – Drills
Sunday – Golfs Greatest
I love giving golf tips however I really enjoy helping golfers with their game and love the positive feedback about golfers who I have helped with their ball striking or driving or whatever so if you like golf tips then you should subscribe.

I’ll always try to put my swing on slow motion on the camera however this is sometimes difficult due to the set up of my driving range and I’m often looking for privacy but I agree that seeing a Professional swing in slow motion can help golfers develop.

I do use the term perfect golf swing, not because there is a perfect golf swing or perfect backswing etc however I like to discuss options in all my videos and strongly believe there are 5 or 6 things we have to do in the golf swing but there are options for golfers to choose what they want to do which is why I feel im qualified to discuss the perfect golf swing as much as anybody else.

The areas I disucss in the golf swing are hip rotation, swing plane, upper body movements, how to gain speed in your golf swing, how to use the driver, all golf swing basics, golf swing for seniors, golf swing for irons, the elbow positions and whats the best way to swing a golf club and much more.

I also do a lot of club reviews with Midlands Golf and specially Ronnie and coach at Four Ashes and a friend who helps me as I’m not the most technical person when it comes to club equipment, but we talk about what are the best golf clubs, golf bags, golf balls and even golf trolleys. Everyone wants to know whats the best golf club and especially the best driver which is why we test all of the clubs and give our opinion on what the best golf clubs are.

We talk about the popular tournaments upcoming especially the masters as this is a favourite for every golfer.

We do all of this from our happy home Four Ashes Golf Centre.

So if your keen on learning the best way to swing a golf club, the best latest golf wedge, or interested in online golf lessons, what have Taylormade golf launched now?, or is the latest Callaway driver acyually longer than the prevoius model?

Then press that subscribe buttion, ring those bells and join me on my journey into golf and who knowas where we’ll end up.

Russell, really hope you get a chance to compete in some tournaments for the 2021 season. I'm guessing the area the needs the most work in the short game, but judging by your ball striking, I think you stand a very good chance at being very competitive. Dare I say leaderboard competitive!

to take a word from your vernacular…..BRILLIANT!

Squizzy Bollocks says:

7:56…..More shaft lean Russel

Yin Hee says:

This sharing will eliminate outside in problem……..It helps me play more consistently. What a great lesson.

Andrew Drummond says:

A great way to stop the frustration is to put the clubs in the loft and get down the bike shop and buy a mountain bike 🤣 very, very rare to have a frustrating day on the bike, even if you fall, whereas for an amateur it is rare to have a frustration free round 😂

DASH1ful says:

when you waggle the club you don't put much thought into it. you just flip it out and allow your right hand to take over.

gaming raptor says:

Another great vid 👌 i practice everyday for an hour in a field doing your drills. The thing i struggle with is, when i clear my hips properly im unsure on how to deliver the club face to the ball? I feel like i drag the handle through without turning the face over so then i start trying to roll my rist and never get a consistent flight. I'm trying to play a draw because I suffer with a slice but I can't do it.

Ben Jonson says:

Alex Fortey had a nice drill for early hip extension using an alignment rod stuck in the ground at an upward angle across your shins. The objective is to avoid moving your right knee into the rod during transition. Tried it yesterday and got a real good feel for movement at the beginning of the transition. I like it because I can hit balls with it. Enjoy your channel.

Chris Stevens says:

Refreshing to hear an instructor actually admit what their personal struggles were that prevented them from achieving their particular ambitions. It makes what you are advising a lot more believable and credible. Thank you !!!
The maintaining of trail hip depth throughout the swing is exactly what has been my problem. It’s going to take some time to make it a natural don’t need to think about move, but at least I now have a solution to my hip movement problem. Thank you !!!

Mike Grotle says:

Thanks for the personal insight Russell, sometimes I forget you were not born with the swing that we see today. Your teachings and drills on the proper hip movement have made the biggest difference in my game in the past twenty years !

Stevie Buckley PT says:

Russel loves the word ultimately 😂

Robert Solachnek says:

Hi,”don’t you want to know then ,what you know now”,thank you

Sir TogII says:

Youtube golf comp 2021, you have to be in it! THAT would give you an incentive to get that putter training done to perfection 🙂

Harold Pohoresky says:

Again a super video,

xDonJuanx says:

Yes! I've been trying to figure out why I hit my irons solid, but when the clubs get long I struggle with hooks. This is what I'm doing.

Dusty Hatfield says:

Since I starting practicing more during the pandemic, your videos have been amongst the most helpful in diagnosing and fixing my chronic issues. Shot my first sub 80 last week and my next goal is sub-75. Cheers from the US!

psmcafe .com says:

A perfect video, a mirror of my golfing story that makes me shanking since 2 years ( 75% of shoots) . So hard to forget that tendance and so hard to forget the shank terror ! Thanks a lot for all you do !

C K says:

The last thing I do when I see my golf swing, is smile.

C K says:

Loved that intro…

Warwick Huntington says:

Brilliant….. That is exactly me. But I’ve never been able to master it when playing. Warwick

Golf Nut says:

Russell, your golf swing technique is out of this world. There are pga tour professionals out there that would be envious of your swing! I know a technically sound golf swing (pretty) doesn’t win you tournaments but wow!

Steve Jenkins says:

I like you have always had this problem a lot of the time early on with out really knowing it. recently I have started to understand this move and have found the thought of getting my hands lower through impact seams to help a lot as I need to keep my tail hip back to achieve lower hands what are your thought on lower hands at impact. Great videos mate so informative and thought provoking. I’d love to come and have a lesson with you when things are back to normal 👍

David Cullen says:

I'm going to have to buy some high back garden chairs. Thanks as always

Bob McGlone says:

Thanks for being more personal about your self improvement. Helps us in the long run. This is perfect and timely. We need help for the winter. What can we be doing inside?

NYC Person says:

I suffered exactly the same spinny hip for years. For me, the solution was more of a conceptual one. I tried to swing Back-to-Front vs Right-to-Left. How we visualize the swing can affect many small things in the swing.

Zero2Hero Golf says:

@Russell – My sincere thanks to you. This video really is a culmination of approximately 18 months of work. I never would have gotten this far without your powerful and amazing instruction, and I know it going to keep getting better – https://youtu.be/0ijZNmTF3FE

Walter viti says:

Been there exactly. Solved it by focusing on target elbow then shoulder touching chin so it keeps my spine in its axis, keeping pelvis in axis (in backswing). In aggressive downswing, it prevented my upper halve being pulled across (left) before the strike on its proper line…..as target side position was the benchmark, not the hands pulling down. Although my pure strikes were indicated by optimal position of the hands (as a feeling)

Dave says:

You should be on the f–in' Tour with that swing bro! Greetings from sunny California.

jbuburuz says:

Thank you . Love the content. looking forward to spending my winter in the kitchen with two chairs.
