Jan Aike says:

I think most people misunderstand the idea behind the GTI and Golf R. Here
in Germany mums use a Golf to drive the kids to school in the morning.
These are just the more sporty, more dynamic versions of the best hatchback
allround family car. These cars are not made to kill yourself on a race
track.

Karl Michelin-Beard says:

The R stands for refined…….

Colin Rocker says:

the fuse, take out the ESC fuse

sapurvis says:

Sorry, but I love my Golf R and don’t really care that I can’t disengage
ESC.

OspreyBravo18 says:

Really want to upgrade from my GTI to a golf R someday…

Juan Garcia says:

Sup Ben affleck…

Chris Heffler says:

You need a Canadian Golf R – hold the traction control button down for 10
seconds and ESC is off!

Nimrod Llenes says:

So the mazdaspeed is a better choice?

TheSchool45 says:

I agree i think 40k is way to much for a Golf R for what it has, its way to
simple for 40k, now i see why I’ve never seen a 2012 R on the road before.
The only reason why i like the R is the exhaust note, all wheel drive. You
might as well just get a GTI Wolfburg Edition, and it has much more
cheaper!. You can get a used 2010 GTI 30k miles for under 20k.

Khalil Missaoui says:

my favorite color

istiklalcaddesi says:

RUBBISH REVIEW BY NON VW GOLF OWNER.
R IS A SUPERIOR TO ANY GTI STOCK OR EVENLY MODIFIED. GTI WILL BURNOUT ALL
DAY LONG IN WET AND EVEN DRY SURFACE IT LL JUST SLIP 1ST GEAR. THIS CAR
WILL DO 4.7 TO 4.9 ON DRY SURFACE 0-100 WITH ONLY A BASIC RE TUNE OF THE
ECU… MY FRIEND HAS SAME CAR 2012 DSG 4 DOOR WHICH DOES 200KW ATW WHERE MY
MK5 GOLF DOES ONLY 160 KW ATW WITH SAME ECU ONLY TUNE FROM THE SAME TUNER…

PRICE WISE? WELL I CANT AFFORD IT ATM BUT WORTH EVERY DOLLAR OR AUDI S3
WOULD BE WISE

Marcus Anderson says:

Look in the fuse box for ESC and Pull the fuse and there you go.

enrique ruben ramirez bay says:

estos videos son muy buenos, pero quisiera saber por que no hacen una
traducción al español,gracias.-

a5anda6 says:

In sum: It can send 100% power to the rear tires, but the ESC damps it down
when cornering. Doh. So this really is a GT car, miscast by VW as a racer.

adams1696 says:

I have a video up .. 0-60 in my GLI stock 5.3 seconds Just as fast as
this?

william barnes says:

We have been able to fully turn off all controls for over a year now

owen allen says:

Well evo x and sti have hideous interiors made of cheap hard plastic and
shitty seating positions. Crap cars with good motors amd AWD systems O_O.

Jay jay dynomite says:

My Golf R is amazing! Apr tune, exhaust, twintake, twin cooler and a Elvis
TCB sticker, so look out! 🙂 love stomping v8’s n Honda & anyone who
thinks they are about to race someone with a ” fart muffler” mod. Lol, and
I can chill out and get over av. 35mpg! Wow! It’s fun to drive, people give
me compliments all the time on the tornado red paint… & VW service dept.
is coolest EVER! Just can not put into words, the thrill when I walk off
from a big gas sucking v8, and see the surprise look on their face!( &
mine) lol ” best to run was vett z06, we had a blast! I love all cars, but
my R is most amazing car I have ever owned! Worth every cent!

DiscGolfer 420 says:

The videos of this tournament are very professional. I liked the central
coast one better for the quick on the spot video, but i like this one for
the commentary and very nice camera angles. You can really see the well
time spent on these videos, and good job too all of the crew on these
productions.

Michael Goitia Sarmiento says:

You might not get this compliment a lot but you have the best audio of any
discgolf production source. I love that you can hear the power in the steps
and the sounds are very high def. Thanks

Alex Thurston says:

Great video great commentary, really impressed, great work!

Daniel Lindahl says:

Really like commentary but I like the central coast guys better. Just an
opinion. Maybe y’all can cover separate events and get more coverage out
there?

GenericUserName says:

Great commentary. I enjoyed AJ’s insights.

lonelord22 says:

Great coverage! Thanks for the hard work. I look forward to your next
videos.

Tolan T says:

Are you guys coming out to the world’s..? I would love to see some of the
NW courses showcased by you. I, personally, am excited to see the pros
tear it up!

z ahio says:

7:20 This guy steps his putt over? Or is it a putt?

Ryan Orion says:

One of the best video and commentary of a great DG event. It was great to
watch, great commentary. Appreciate it guys. Mentally preparing for the
Minnesota Majestic in a couple weeks. Go play some disc golf!

ATurtlePuncher says:

You guys really need to tone down the commentary on tournament coverage
videos. You should be focusing on the shots at hand not describing each
hole from an angle we can’t see or many other things. This wasn’t a
tutorial/clinic or a course review, this was tournament round coverage and
I think it should have focused more on the throws and not the random stuff.
Just my 2 cents

Ryan Hatzenbeller says:

10:59. clutch money putt.

Ryan Hatzenbeller says:

14:27 no pressure

Ryan Hatzenbeller says:

2:18 what a putt
